Winter Reflections - another good year in the books

It seems there has been a pattern for the last few years with these blog updates. As the winter wanes, with spring on the way, I post about my excitement for the upcoming fishing season and then, as winter waxes heavy again, the next year there is another post about the end of another fishing season.

Such is the pattern of a fishing fanatic that chases the open water and loathes the winter hard water season. A colleague today told me six and half inches of ice already and we’re not even in the third week of December. Yikes!

This spring, summer, and fall were a blur that I will need to properly appreciate as the winter months pass us by. All I can say for now is that fun times were had, memories were made, and fish were crushed in some dramatic ways!

I will leave you with some pictures of the good times from this last fishing season and a promise that… I will post again before spring is upon us!

As always.

Catch.

Release.

Wander.

C'est la vie.

Pura vida.

Carpe diem.
