LIFE IS GOOD - FISHING IS GOOD.
I am so blessed to live where I do. The fishing is bountiful. The woods are plentiful. And the weather is generally tolerable. In the last week we’ve been out and smoked some nice fish. Beau caught his first ever walleye on the fly, Adam caught his first figure 8 musky, Geoff ran his first class III rapid in a fishing raft, and Richard caught his first topwater river smallie. It’s been good!
Recently I added an addition to my guiding arsenal in the form of a DSLR Canon camera - it has allowed me to very much up my “Hero-shot” photo game. My goal on the river is not only to provide a safe, enjoyable, remote, adventure but to also provide a beautiful picture of the fish that you caught. I am going to post some of the shots from the new camera over the last week.
